Using aromatherapy to treat headaches is nothing new as this method of healing has also been around for many centuries.

Other ways to treat headaches naturally and without drugs include taking a rest. In some cases, taking a short to long nap can easily alleviate the headache. You will be able to then wake up feeling rested. Even if you cannot nap, you might find that headaches are relieved by just closing your eyes for a few moments. In most cases, headaches are simply the result of excessive eyestrain, especially for those who work on the computer or need to read all day long.
